Announcing The Remote Worker Collective
WFHishNYC launches a new premium channel for remote workers to find new friends and collaborators across NYC
I’m Andy, the creator of WFHishNYC. Today I am excited to announce a new premium product for WFHishNYC called The Remote Worker Collective.
Modeled after local groups designed to help people make new friends, we have created a Geneva channel that allows meeting new people in the context of remote working.
You can meet new friends and collaborators for projects. Imagine the comradery of the office but with people you actually want to spend time with. This is a group where remote workers can connect and find other people to remote work with all across NYC.
As a remote worker myself, I know how lonely it can be. This is an opportunity to replicate the comradery of the office but actually with people you’d spend time with voluntarily.
We want to create an environment where people can work side by side, make new friends, and even find people to collaborate with on projects. New York can be lonely especially if you are new here and don’t know anyone but we want that to change. Regardless if you are a lifelong New Yorker or brand new, this space is for you.
To join the group, it’s simple. There is a one time fee of $25 and you’ll be added to the list. Email me at andy@andyreports.com to join with the subject line “Request To Join Remote Worker Collective”. You’ll answer a few questions and then be directed to a Venmo payment. I’ll add you and that’s it, you are in.
In addition to being part of this group, you’ll be helping me continue to be able to build this guide. With now more than 100K users across platforms any help makes a huge difference.
