This small cafe is a great place to catch up on a few emails or take a quick meeting

After a few week break we are back. Today we are on the Upper West Side at Patisserie Chanson

Here’s what you need to know:

Address: 2040 Broadway (Broadway & W. 70th)

Plug Situation: Power outlets are fairly limited; I didn’t notice many available.

Seating:

• Three tables by the window, each seating two people.

• One table near the front door, seating three people.

Wi-Fi: Works well, no complaints.

Bathroom: They have one.

Noise Level: It’s not particularly noisy. There’s a comfortable amount of background noise, so you can have a conversation without disturbing others, but it's not so quiet that people aren’t aware of what’s going on around them.

Lighting: The cafe has large floor-to-ceiling windows that allow natural light to flow in. There’s also fluorescent lighting overhead, so it’s quite bright.

Food: They offer fairly standard pastries and coffee. While they have a few adventurous options like a violet latte, most of the menu is fairly typical.

Overall: This Upper West Side spot is worth checking out if you’re in the area. It’s not really a place for lingering for hours, but it’s a great spot to stop by if you need to catch up on some emails.
