Hey readers,
I’ve returned from a week in Europe skiing, and it was a much-needed distraction from all the craziness here at home. That said, I’m back and ready to bring you more reviews.
This week, we’re checking out Black Cat in the Lower East Side. This spot is a remote worker’s paradise—with ample seating, plenty of plugs, and quality coffee, it’s a must-try.
Neighborhood: Lower East Side
Address: 172 Rivington St, New York, NY 10002
Seating:
Five two-person tables
One four-person table
Three bar stools
Six Couches
Plug Situation: Outlets are abundant throughout the space.
Bathroom: One bathroom for customers only. No public bathroom.
Wifi: Works well with no complaints.
Noise Level: Comfortable, with a bit of background chatter. Overall, a chill and calming vibe.
Food: It has a no-frills cafe vibe. What you’d expect at any cafe—cappuccinos, lattes, teas, etc. They have a limited food menu with some sandwiches. I had the lox bagel, which was a solid option.
Overall: A great spot to get some work done in the Lower East Side, with plenty of reliable seating.
