Review: Brooklyn Habit - Carroll Gardens
This quiet neighborhood spot needs to be on your list
Hi readers,
Today, we’re in Carroll Gardens checking out a new spot just steps away from the Carroll Street F/G stop, which I stumbled upon after brunch this weekend. It’s called Brooklyn Habit and boy does this place seem “being a regular”m worthy.
Here are the deets:
Neighborhood: Carroll Gardens
Address: 405 Smith Street
Seating:
4 large high tables with stools, each comfortably seating 3 people
1 large communal table that comfortably seats 6 people
4 bar-style stools facing the front window
Plug Situation:There are four sets of plugs, each with four prongs.
Bathroom:There’s one for customers only. No public bathroom, though.
Wifi: Works well, no complaints.
Noise Level:It’s comfortable — a little background noise from people chatting. Overall, a very calming space.
Food: Solid café fare, including coffee, tea, and pastries. There are also soups and salads.
Overall: A solid option in Carroll Gardens. While the door says they’re open until 11 p.m., their website lists a 5 p.m. closing time.
