Review: Oslo Coffee Roasters: Hell's Kitchen
This location might be far out but is worth a try if you are in the area
Hey Readers,
This week, I visited Oslo Coffee Roasters in Hell’s Kitchen, and while this spot is a bit out of the way—located between 11th and 12th Ave—it’s definitely worth checking out if you find yourself in the area. This location of the semi-local chain is a must-try. Here’s the lowdown:
Neighborhood: Hell’s Kitchen
Address: 620 W 42nd St, New York, NY 10036
Seating:
Two community tables (seating 6 people)
Six two-person tables
Four bar stool tables
Plugs: Limited availability. This doesn't seem to be the place’s strong suit.
Wi-Fi: No complaints.
Bathroom: Yes, there's a single-occupancy bathroom for customers with no code required.
Food: A variety of pastries and sandwiches, along with a fairly standard selection of coffees and teas.
Noise Level: Quiet, but with slightly louder-than-usual background noise.
Lighting: Plenty of natural light, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows throughout.
Overall: This is a solid choice if you find yourself on the far west side of Hell’s Kitchen, near the Javits Center. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend it, but it’s not extraordinary enough to make the trek unless you're nearby.
Just a reminder, we are having a launch party to celebrate our new collaboration with fluxo this Wednesday at Pete’s Candy Store — a bar in Williamsburg for Happy Hour between 5PM - 8PM. We hope to see you there. Please RSVP here
