Hey all,
Today we are with our friends at fluxo reviewing one of the great places you can book on their app which has a summer promo for the first booking free.
You know the bar — a Williamsburg institution famous for its music, daily shows, and incredible local community. Did you know that on Wednesdays and Thursdays you can work from here?? Just off the Lorimer L or Nassau G, Pete's offers great wifi and comfy seats, plus quiet spots for calls and a beautiful backyard full of Japanese maples, perfect for summertime!
Seating Options: Varied and plentiful!
10 bar seats - swivel chairs with good back support
8 tables to accommodate 1-4 people
12-15 seats along the wall in the performance space in the back
12 outdoor tables, and 4 high-tops, plus area for standing desks
Seating Highlight:
The backyard is the place to be on a nice day...what an office! Sun filters through a variety of leaves that cool the area even in warmest conditions. Half the seats have overhead coverage to calm any weather concerns.
Plugs: many places to plug in under the bar, along the walls, and under the covered backyard space. Pete’s will supply additional extension cords if needed.
Wi-Fi: Strong wifi and backyard has a wifi extender so you can keep your smooth connection everywhere.
Bathroom: two single-occupant bathrooms
Noise Level: Calm, quiet, and the performance space has separate entrance for quiet calls.
Lighting: Warm and inviting – brighter by the windows and in the backyard, calmer in the middle room and back area. Optimal for summer days, as it stays cool and cozy no matter the outdoor weather.
Overall: Pete’s is one of our favorite spots to work from. The coffee is good, the bar offers soda and water to its guests, and the staff always makes you feel comfortable.
The place has been designed to host crowds and create connection, so it works brilliantly as a daytime cafe space. And since they have good relationships with local businesses, you might find the local bakery dropping off extra croissants for fluxo guests – or any number of other surprises. Best of all, if you’re there when the bar opens, you’ve already got prime seats for the evening’s entertainment.
