Review: Prospect Heights: Coffee Land
This shop is a gem for any remote worker in central Brooklyn
Hey Readers,
Happy Tuesday! Today we are in the lovely Prospect Heights neighborhood at a place that could easily become a new favorite called Coffeeland.
Neighborhood: Prospect Heights
Address: 718 Franklin Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11238
Seating:
One community table that sits four people
Two tables with low stools
Six two person facing the wall
LOTS of outdoor seating. That is this place’s strong suit. This is a great place to work outside during the summer months.
Four bar style seats facing the front window
Plugs: I counted at least seven sets. Most of which are very conveniently located. There is at least one of the bar facing the window. On the wall facing seating, there are a set of outlets between each table.
Wi-Fi: Works well. No complaints
Bathroom: Yes, there is a single one person bathroom
Food: fairly standard coffeeshop fare — bagels, avocado toast, pastries and the like — coffee and teas.
Noise Level: It’s a comfortable level of background noise. There’s soft background music and a few people talking but it’s a relatively calm space to get work done.
Lighting: Plenty of natural light here. There are big floor to ceiling windows in the front and warm yellow bulb lights up top
Overall: This place is a must try if you are in central Brooklyn.
