This week we are on the Upper East Side at the Variety Coffee Location. While it is a chain, this location is a solid option if you find yourself in this part of town.
ADDRESS: 1069 Lexington Ave
SEATING: There are thirteen two person tables. The warning is that they are not that big. There are three alongside the windows, four along the back wall and five in the center.
WIFI: Works well. No complaints.
BATHROOM SITUATION: There is one in the back intended for one person.
NOISE LEVEL: It’s quiet with a comfortable amount of background noise. It’s quiet enough you won’t get too distracted. It’s loud enough that you could have a conversation with someone without disturbing the people next to you.
PLUG SITUATION: Great, there seems to be a set of plugs at just about every single table.
LIGHTING: There are floor to ceiling windows on two sides. Natural light is key. There is also this enormous chandelier in the center of the space.
FOOD: Not much. There are a few pastry options but that’s about it.
OVERALL: This place is a decent option on the UES.
