Review - Passionfruit Coffee
This Bed Stuy Spot Is A Quiet Neighborhood Spot To Get Some Work Done
Hey readers,
This week’s review is Passionfruit Coffee in Bed Stuy. It’s not far from the Gates Ave. J train stop.
NEIGHBORHOOD: Bed-Stuy
ADDRESS: 733 Madison St.Brooklyn, NY 11221
SEATING:
This is this place’s strong suit
5 tables for two people
One center table with five stools
Window facing bar with four seats
PLUG SITUATION: This is not this place’s strong suit. I could only find one plug and it was not that close to a table.
WIFI: No issues
NOISE LEVEL: It’s comfortable. There is music in the background but quiet enough to not get distracted and it’s also loud enough that if you’re having a conversation with someone, not everyone will be able to hear what you’re saying.
BATHROOM: There is one in the back that is intended for one person.
LIGHTING: Open huge windows (floor to ceiling), natural light fills the space. It’s very open.
FOOD: Seems pretty limited. There are a handful of pastry options. They had chocolate chip cookies and a passion fruit pound cake on display but that was about it.
OVERALL: This is a great option in Bed- Stuy (more in the Stuyvesant Heights section of the neighborhood) as long as you have a charge in your computer and aren’t really looking to eat.
